Meet Jemima.

Jemima is the founder of Dollie's Bakery and Dollie's Deli.

She trained as a pastry chef in Norfolk and in London, working through the small hours in professional kitchens where the standards were high and the timings were unforgiving. She loved every minute of it — and eventually knew she wanted to build something of her own.

When lockdown paused the world in 2020, Jemima started Dollie's Bakery from her home kitchen. Sourdough loaves delivered by bike. Cinnamon buns dropped at neighbours' doors. A quiet, careful business built one customer at a time.

"It started with a starter and a stubborn belief that better bread was worth it."

Word travelled quickly. Dollie's grew into a proper bakery, then a deli — a bright, busy space where people come for morning pastries and stay for espresso, sandwiches at lunch and pizza on Friday nights.

The heart of what we do is community. Jemima is passionate about supporting local producers — the miller, the farmer, the small wine importer — and about being the kind of place Norfolk deserves. Somewhere warm. Somewhere generous. Somewhere you can bring your children, your grandmother, or your Tuesday self.
